Hi everyone,

Hi,

I’ve applied multiple times for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but my application keeps getting rejected.

I have ensured that:

My GitHub profile name and billing name exactly match my academic documents
My document clearly shows my full name, school name, and current enrollment

Despite this, my application is still not approved.

Could someone please guide me on what might be causing the issue, or if there is something specific I should fix?

I used my school report card and also my id card but I was still rejected.
Everything was okay in the documents and the photo was not cropped.
The ID card only had my school email with logo whereas my report card had everything with the academic year, school name, my name etc.

In that case, the issue may not be the image quality itself but the verification requirements GitHub Education is checking internally.

Since your report card already contains:

• your full name
• school name
• academic year

and your ID card includes the school email/logo, your documents sound mostly valid.

One possible reason is that GitHub sometimes prefers documents that clearly prove current active enrollment status in a more recent or official format.

You could try submitting one of these if available:

• current semester enrollment certificate
• fee receipt for the current academic session
• student portal/dashboard screenshot with your name and current date
• official bonafide/student verification letter from the institution
